Embracing my unique skill sets as a storyteller, teacher and story coach, I support teachers, librarians, artists and community workers use stories to deliver educationally sound and high-engagement programs that nurture imagination, creativity and learning - perfect for schools, libraries and cultural communities.

My job is to help you enrich your programs with stories and deliver greater engagement and value for children and the community. I bring interactive storytelling, music, and creative literacy to every session.

My training style

My clients love how interactive, hands-on, and practical my storytelling workshops for librarians and teachers are. Whether in schools or library spaces, I tailor each session to meet you where you’re at and guide you toward your goals, drawing on your unique experiences. With a Master’s in Reading Education, a Bachelor’s in English Language Teaching, and over 20 years working with children, my expertise is grounded in both education and performance, giving you a rich, engaging learning experience.

I offer a unique balance of creativity and structure, providing practical examples, resources, tools, and templates that you can continue using long after the session. By the end of a session, you feel inspired, confident, and ready to use interactive storytelling techniques to engage children and make a real difference in your school or library.

“I’m throwing my plan for today out the window and just do a bunch of the tricks that Anna taught us on Friday.”

— Children’s librarian, Goldfields Libraries

“The highlights of the workshop for me were learning aspects of storytelling other than reading from a book and making stories more accessible to children. Anna is very welcoming and inclusive. Her presentation was inspiring.”

“The participants’ responses were nothing short of positive comments, expressing their enjoyment whilst learning. I highly recommend Anna in every Story Telling or any Communication Improvement type of workshops, not just for children but also for all ages. Thank you Anna for adding colour to our activity, and for the infectious laughter and most of all, for the engaging delivery making everyone feel included.”
